VMA One Night Powerhouse

Well, well, the VMA chatter is certainly heating up. New reports say that Timbaland, the music producer behind Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, will be “remixing” the 2007 VMAs (whatever that means). I guess he’s acting as the show’s producer, because it sounds like he’s responsible for coordinating on-screen performances.
In an unprecedented move, MTV remixes the “2007 MTV Video Music Awards” by teaming with innovative music producer Timbaland to be the show’s Maestro and by bringing together today’s hottest artists to create unique and collaborative “one time only” performances at the 24th annual awards show.
Also, if you hadn’t already heard, MTV is promising to air the VMAs one time only. With their history of long VMA marathons, expect “Real World” overkill to fill in the timeslots.

Timbaland, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, and Fall Out Boy will be performing with special guests live from The Palms Fantasy Suites. Its HOT fun in the desert as Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Chris Brown have also been added to the list of powerhouse performers with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland hosting their own Fantasy Suite party. In addition, celebrity DJ/Producer Mark Ronson will rock the party in The Pearl with help from his turntables, horn section and surprise guests.
