New Show: “Summer of Love”

I just love when new shows pop up–especially when they’re those horrible dating shows that MTV is famous for. Get all the details on the new show “Summer of Love,” after the jump.

Here’s the word:

The Producers of ‘The Office’ and ‘Ugly Betty’ are excited to announce their new show ‘Summer of Love.’

Are you ready to stop kissing frogs and start kissing your prince charming? Does your mom give great date advice and is crucial in any romantic decisions you make?

In an MTV first original series we’ll give you the opportunity to date a great guy, listen to mom’s advice and potentially fall in love.

Now casting single females ready for love and adventure. If you appear to be between the ages of 18-24, outgoing and a hopeless romantic then the Casting Directors of MTV’s ‘Summer of Love’ want to meet you.

Doesn’t this remind you of “Date My Mom”? It sounds like the parents give dating advice to their kids, but this plot is so similar to current shows like “Parental Control” and others. Anyway, if you want to take a shot at casting, here’s your info:
