“Made” Scouts For Its New Season

Bryce Fallon (pictured above with cameraman), a student at Silver Lake High School in Massachusetts, was recently selected as a candidate for an episode of “Made.” As you all surely known, “Made” takes teenagers with dreams and works with them to make the dream a reality. Bryce Fallon’s dream was to become a ballroom dancer, so MTV sent out a partial film crew to test the waters. The main purpose of this audition of sorts was to collect video so that producers could decide whether or not to press ahead with Bryce’s episode.
It all started Wednesday night, according to Fallon. “The guy who was going to film me, Ritesh Gupta, came over. He explained what was going to go on and the shots he would need for the night,” Fallon said. “He shot me and my mom eating dinner and just doing our normal routine. We did have some shots he had to get in, such as me talking to my mom about my goal, me dancing the way I regularly do, me attempting to ballroom dance with my mom. He did some interview questions with my mom as well as me, which wrapped up the evening. All three of us we’re tired, but satisfied.”

After a good night’s sleep, the Fallons woke up to a hectic Thursday. “This was a very hectic day!” Fallon exclaimed. “I was on a very tight schedule the entire day and couldn’t miss a beat.”
“The first thing was me and three of my friends being filmed playing soccer at the fields at the Kingston Intermediate School,” Fallon said. “That was very fun and yet also quite exhausting, but I still had to keep plugging on. Next, I had a Speech and Debate Team meeting at the high school. Ritesh filmed us doing different exercises and performing sections from the pieces we had previously done that year. He also interviewed my fellow team members before we were all treated to lunch on MTV’s dime.”
With half the day gone Fallon continued, “After some down time, it was off to my place of work, Duval’s Pharmacy, in Whitman, where I was filmed interacting with my co-workers and some of the customers. Ritesh and I parted ways for a while afterwards, but filming resumed later that evening when two of my friends came over to chill out at my place, which was a great end to the night. Some final interview questions sealed the deal, and Ritesh was off and back to New York City.”
“It was quite an interesting and thrilling learning experience for me personally,” Fallon said, reflecting on the day. “I got deep insight into the world of reality TV and television itself. Ritesh was a great guy and I really enjoyed his company. All the people I have been in contact with from MTV have been cooperative and easy to get along with as well.”
