Lets get honest..
I’m the new MTV blogger, and this is my first post. Wow, I should write for the 12-step section eh? Funny actually because originally when I applied to write for 451 it was for the blog about alcoholism but they decided I’d be a better candidate to write about MTV. I can’t decide whether this is a compliment or not but lets pretend it is. Lets pretend those that run 451 said to themselves, “This girl is brilliant, and so witty! I think I might pee myself reading about her families history of alcoholism..lets have her write about reality shows and music videos!” Yep. That’s what they said, and here I am, your source for all that is MTV, maybe…because um, mostly I scoff at the shows MTV comes out with these days..oh, except one, my guilty pleasure. THE HILLS
For those of you that are more clueless than I am, The Hills is a drama series on MTV with some ladies from Laguna Beach. The main character is Lauren Conrad and a slew of her wealthy friends and every Monday night you get to sit down and drool over their cute clothes, fresh flower arrangements scattered around the West Hollywood villa they live in, and shriek “What the FUCK” when Heidi continues to go back out with Spencer. I do this alone because my boyfriend snickers whenever I put it on and asks why I’m rotting my brain with this kind of crap. I have no plausible answer, I’m just a reality-TV sucker. Anyways, last night was the season finale of The Hills and I’ll admit, I recorded it and watched it commercial free this morning (and that ruled) WITH my boyfriend who actually commented on how hot the girls are. I do think they are hot, especially Lauren Conrad, and Whitney; I love them! They are the girls I will never be (ever, EVER). They always have super cute dresses, and they never have fly-away hair…I actually noticed that this past episode when Whitney went for her job interview at Teen Vogue in New York city. The icy looking blonde doing the actual interview had some static going on and tiny little platinum hairs were sticking up all over the place…but not Whitney, no she was the epitome of cute hipster perfection. She better get hired, I’ll kick ass if she doesn’t.
The episode was pretty predicable; Heidi moved out with Spencer and we knew that would happen..and Spencer always the douche-bag bragged to Brody that he had two cell phones one being the “bro phone” or some shit (I stopped paying attention and started plotting ways to kill him when this scene happened) and in the end Audrina moved in with Lauren. Yay, a happy ending…only, I’m not happy. I want more Hills!
Here’s a picture of the girls from MTV’s live finale party. Whitney and Lauren look adorable per usual but Audrina looks like she’s going to leave the party to go work her shift at Hooters.

Which one is the Hooters girl? Only one? Is this is a trick question?

The other two are so classy! Don’t you think? Look at the face Whitney is making if she smiles any harder SHE WILL BREAK.

I already have Hills withdrawal!
I really wonder what Heidi thought when she saw the episode and Spencer told Brody that the only reason he wanted Heidi to move in with him was to get her away from Lauren. AHH! I can’t stand him. I think I also read somewhere that he is her manager now. What the??

Uhg, I have withdrawal too! It’s horrible, The Hills is my #1 guilty pleasure..when my boyfriend was watching the show he even said “what the!” hearing Spencer say that stuff - and for Heidi to not even see through him is really unacceptable…she’s a slap in the face to girls all over. Anyway I read her and Lauren aren’t talking anymore (until Spencer screws Heidi over and she needs a shoulder to lean on)
Oh my gosh I sound like my mom gossiping with my Aunt about her “stories” shoot me!
