Inferno 3 Wrap-Up
Hey, everyone! My name’s David and I’m thrilled to be your new blogger at WatchingMTV.com. I’ll be sure to keep you updated with all the new MTV news and gossip, so check back frequently! Alright, let’s get to it:

Sadly, this week marked the finale of “The Inferno 3.” Though the teams have been neck-and-neck throughout most of the competition, The Bad Asses pulled through to defeat The Good Guys in the last mission. (Each Bad Ass won $40K, not bad for a fledgling MTV prize).
But, true to MTV form, the drama was largely non-competition related. First, we had The Good Guys complaining that Cara had sabotaged missions in order to help her best friend Suzie. By throwing missions, Cara ensured that Suzie would win the “life shield,” guaranteeing them both immunity. I can totally see the team’s point on this one: if Cara was not trying her hardest to win missions then she was, in a way, deliberately helping the opposite team. With the missions growing more demanding with each episode, the team needs every one of its members’ full effort. This obviously came back to haunt the team as they watched their enemies, The Bad Asses, take home the grand prize.
Other side drama included Johnny running his mouth at every other competitor’s apparent weakness. Unfortunately for him, he found himself on the losing team, so he quickly realized he had no room to talk.
This challenge was one of the shortest with only 15 episodes. Luckily, two new shows are already in production: “The Real World: Sydney” and “The Gauntlet 3,” so you’re sure to get your catty MTV fix in just a few short weeks. Until then, make sure to keep watching “The Real World: Reunited”—the cast has finally settled in and things are bound to heat up.
