“Real World” season 20, as we’ve known for some time, is set in LA. Hollywood, to be more exact. If you click here, you can read a post that I wrote a few weeks ago detailing everything we know so far about the season. Here’s a snippet:

• The house will be “green,” meaning that it will be environmentally friendly. “The house will utilize solar energy and feature recycled glass counters, “sustainable” furniture and energy-efficient lighting.”
• One of the cast members, “PretyBoy,” was selected by the online voting system earlier this year.
• The house is located in downtown LA, just a short distance from major bars and clubs.
• Producers looked for cast members that had strong ambitions. This will somehow tie into the show’s storyline, but we’re unsure as to how.
• This is the last guaranteed season of “The Real World.” MTV renewed show up to this season, but no further, so its continued existence is up in the air.

Are you all ready for the weekend yet? If so, I hope you have something fun planned—and I also hope that you’ll get more piece of mind than Parisa did last weekend. In a message posted on her private Facebook, Parisa said this: “Thank you whoever wrote my number on the wall at some club and the lovely drunk that woke me up to tell me Dunbar sucks.”

I followed up with the reality star and she gave me a unique view into the cast members’ lives post-filming. Here’s a taste:

• Cast members do not see the episodes in advance (with the exception of the first two episodes). They watch them live on Wednesday nights, just like you.
• “I check in with your blog regularly and noticed the change in pace over there, glad to see you’re doing well.” See! By reading this you are among the stars!
• “I goofed thinking that this person was my friend, investing time and care into a friendship that definitely isn’t being portrayed as mutual.” Who could she be talking about? Find out soon.

Well, well, the VMA chatter is certainly heating up. New reports say that Timbaland, the music producer behind Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, will be “remixing” the 2007 VMAs (whatever that means). I guess he’s acting as the show’s producer, because it sounds like he’s responsible for coordinating on-screen performances.

In an unprecedented move, MTV remixes the “2007 MTV Video Music Awards” by teaming with innovative music producer Timbaland to be the show’s Maestro and by bringing together today’s hottest artists to create unique and collaborative “one time only” performances at the 24th annual awards show.

Also, if you hadn’t already heard, MTV is promising to air the VMAs one time only. With their history of long VMA marathons, expect “Real World” overkill to fill in the timeslots.

Yes, the 20th season location of “The Real World” has finally been announced: Hollywood. If you’ll remember, season 2 of the show also filmed in LA, but this time around producers are calling the city “Hollywood.” Tricky! New info was recently posted on MM Agency Blog about Isaac, the newest addition to “The Real World: Sydney” cast. Other sources have already confirmed him as this season’s “party boy,” but here’s the somewhat official word:

He has been an entertainer since birth winning freestyle battles, doing stand up comedy, and MCing events through college of which he felt allowed him to be a better Contiki tour guide during the Sydney Real World.

All this entertainment and Real World stuff to him is simply a launching pad toward his ultimate goal of being the President and then running the world….not sure if he meant running the world as President or that was just a stepping stone toward the world domination gig.

Eh, too much energy too soon? He obviously has the charisma necessary to survive in a “Real World” house; let’s just hope he doesn’t go overboard. Read the full report after the jump.

So much fun, just a day away! Tomorrow:

• Who’s staging a protest at MTV’s Times Square studios? And what’s their big complaint?
• Find out a whole lot of info about the new “Real World” cast member that swam naked in the fish tank!
• Witness “Next” history! This was almost too gross for me to post… enjoy!

We’re still two weeks away from the premiere of “The Real World: Sydney,” but cast members already have qualms about how the nation will react. KellyAnne Judd was recently featured on MM Agency blog, and we sure learn some interesting tidbits from the post. KellyAnne has suffered from ADD since childhood, and it seems to have affected filming in surprising ways:

During the Sydney Real World she would break out in random laughter and seemed unstable during the season which caused issues that she would usually run away from in a normal setting but being in The Real World house forced her to confront them

Is a little punctuation too much too ask for? Whatever. The article mentions that KellyAnne is being sized up as the next Brooke (”Real World: Denver”), which is great news for us as viewers, but hooorrrible news for KellyAnne as a cast member. We’ll find out in two weeks if it’s true!
