Pimp My School Bus
Monday, July 30th, 2007
“Mad Mike,” whom you know as the customizer on “Pimp My Ride,” recently ventured to Pompton Plains, NJ to do some good old fashioned service work. Evidently, there was a school bus in bad need of repair, and who better for the job than a “Pimp My Ride” expert? There was significant structural damage to the bus, and one of the school official’s main concerns was safety, not “bells, lights and whistles.” Anyway, here’s how the bus was pimped:
• Install a new engine.
• Affix an LED marquee to the front and back.
• Attach a new ramp.
• Put new rims — alas, not spinners — on the wheels.
• Add inside speakers and a CD player.
• Clean the rust off the exterior and give it a new paint job.
Makes me wish I still rode a bus to school!
