Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge show up to events with oddly similar looks. Roaring 20’s glam is back! The Hills are alive with it, or something.
Jason Wahler to Heidi Montag: “Shut up”
Saturday, September 8th, 2007
Jason Wahler is speaking up about LC’s (and apparently his) feud with with Heidi and Spencer.
My favorite quote?
“”They just need to shut up.”
“The Hills” Are Alive
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007
What did you all think of the latest “The Hills”? Personally, I thought it merged Spencer and Beavis (from Beavis and Butthead) more than any other episode, and it proved that Lo should get her own show.
Anyway, on Monday we saw LC and her crew playing football on the beach in Malibu. Remember this post I brought you way back in July?? We finally saw it come to fruition!
Next we saw Heidi and Spencer navigate the wilderness of (my home state) Colorado. The Montags got a nice plug of their family-owned restaurant, Timberline, and Audrina moped about JustinBobby again.

Spencer Pratt Has a Meltdown
Monday, August 6th, 2007
These “Laguna Beach” types can’t go a day without badmouthing each other. This time, it’s Spencer Pratt running his mouth. In his most recent blog post, Spencer rants about how Lauren Conrad has been talking smack about Spencer and Heidi just to get publicity for herself. Umm… isn’t that the whole point of MTV reality franchises? Whatever. You can read the whole blog post after the jump, but here a few teaser quotes:
- “[Lauren Conrad] used to ask to get in bed with Heidi and I to cuddle in the mornings”
- “when those cameras turn off LC(BEEF CURTAINS) is a completely different person…she goes back to being the spoiled brat that made her famous on Laguna Beach”
- “The LC is a pathetic wannabe fashion designer…who can’t even dress herself and look good…how is she going to design a line…ha…it should be called BEEF CURTAINS by LC”

Lauren Conrad and Friends Don’t Want Your Attention
Sunday, August 5th, 2007
Yeah, right! Even though the girls complained about the pesky paparazzi presence at a Hollywood hot spot a few nights back, they seem to love the exposure they got from MTV. Here’s what happened:
TMZ spotted the twosome outside of Les Deux last night, shooting scenes for the upcoming season of “The Hills.” Conrad and Patridge were then caught complaining to a producer about going back to the club because there was too much paparazzi around. Uh, hello? Tick tock … 15 minutes girls!
So they don’t want to be photographed but they continue to star in reality shows?? I don’t get it, someone explain this to me. You can also hear in the video that Lauren Conrad says something along the lines of, “Come on, do we have to shoot another exit?” Call me old-fashioned, but doesn’t this take the reality out of “The Hills”? A true reality show would not be reshooting scenes–that defeats the purpose of the whole genre. But then again, what do I know…
“The Hills” 2 on DVD
Sunday, July 29th, 2007
August 7th is the date: “The Hills” season 2 finally arrives on DVD. Here’s a short publicity blurb:
With a year in Los Angeles under their belts, Lauren Conrad and her friends Heidi, Audrina and Whitney are learning that being young women in the big city isn’t as easy as they expected. The girls are older, wiser and now single, but still facing challenges at work and school. This year when new guys force them to make tough choices, Lauren and the girls are about to find out that not even friendships can be taken for granted.

Look Who’s Mocking “The Hills”
Saturday, July 28th, 2007It’s MadTV! Usually I find this program childish and humorless, but they sure struck a chord with their parody of “The Hills”! The impression of LC is uncanny! Check it out:
Lauren Conrad and Jody Brenner’s Friendship Is Fake
Saturday, July 28th, 2007
The headline is apparently true. Hollywood Scoop is claiming that Lauren Conrad and Jody Brenner are only ever seen together when “The Hills” cameras are rolling, and that’s the only reason why they hangout at all:
Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner have been seen around town hanging out. They are also shooting the new season of “The Hills” so you can tell they are only hanging around because of that.
The two used to date but I highly doubt they are reconciling. Maybe that’s why Lauren decided to tackle Brody so hard she ended up breaking his finger. Great way to get back at an ex right?
That quote is referring to when Brody Jenner broke his finger a few days back. It’ll be interesting to see how this “Hills” drama heats up. Or cools down. Or melts or something.
Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt Fight
Wednesday, July 25th, 2007
Geeze, we do them a favor by tolerating them while they’re on TV; don’t bother us with your drama when it’s not on television! Yes, Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt from “The Hills” are, like, not friends anymore. Awesome. (They’re pictured here, sandwiching Heidi Montag). Apparently, things went awry when Pratt spoke ill of Jenner’s then girlfriend Nicole Richie in a DETAILS magazine article. I’ve read the article and it basically says that Brody Jenner used Nicole Richie for his own publicity, which many have suspected all along. The two boys are now on two opposing teams: it’s Brody and LC vs. Spencer and Heidi. Hopefully it’s a death match (and no one’s a winner).
Sigh, what do you all think?
Brody Jenner Broke His Finger (Zzzzz…)
Monday, July 23rd, 2007
God, why must we follow every move “The Hills” kids make? I suppose that’s just my lot in life. Let’s get to it. Apparently Brody Jenner was playing football and the beach when LC decided to stop by and join in. One thing led to another and Brody Jenner ended up with a broken finger.
According to E!, Brody Jenner went to the ER and returned with a set of X-rays and a full cast on his left arm. He told the crew, “I’m gonna get surgery, but I’m gonna live.” Of course, Lauren laughed at the ridiculous cast and Brody got his feelings hurt, sparking an argument you’re sure to watch on MTV. E! reports that it all ended in a long-winded heart-to-heart, the kind of stuff shows like The Hills were made for.
Good thing that E! has us covered. Remember that “The Hills” premieres August 13th, this little subplot is sure to be included.
