Steve-O Moves to USA

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

I mean, he already lives in the country, but he’s moving to the USA network. It’s all part of his new show “Dr. Steve-O,” where he’ll journey the nation to transform wimpy boys into manly men. Seriously, that’s the show’s premise.

DR. STEVE-O will follow the adventures of one-of-a-kind personality Steve-O, a member of a dying breed of live-life-to-the-max daredevils who is disgusted with the alarming number of “wussified” men in America. He travels around the country on a mission to “de-wussify” wimps, nerds and couch potatoes who have been nominated by their buddies, girlfriends, wives, mothers, coworkers or even have nominated themselves.

Sure, it’s all fun and games until Steve-O ends up on your door step and makes you drop and give him 20. The good news is that this show is produced by Bunim/Murray productions, the same guys behind “The Real World,” “Road Rules,” and “The Simple Life.” Maybe that will redeem it? If you want to be on the show, visit the link posted after the jump.

Steve-O Announces Rap Album (…And Is Crazy)

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

steve_o.jpg
Over the weekend Steve-O posted the longest entry ever on his blog. The biggest point is that he is coming out with a rap album, but, because the post drags on for so long, I’ve decided to graciously summarize it for you.

He begins by saying he apologizes for being rude to family and friends and blah, blah, blah– get to the good stuff! Ok, here it comes. He’s been struggling with “heavy, major, drug abuse” for the past while, and that’s why you haven’t seen him around. Is anyone surprised that the “Jackass” boys do drugs? Anyone? Moving on.

The post takes a turn for the crazy when Steve-O says he enjoys to free caged dogs. However, in his past attempt to free these caged dogs, one of them got hit by a car and died. This episode sent him into a depression, which somehow connects with a story he tells about a cab driver with an “abhorrent lack of professionalism.” Who would’ve thought that Steve-O knew what the word “abhorrent” meant? The blog post abruptly ends around there, leaving us totally confused (and quite scared).

Click “read the rest of this entry” to see the whole thing for yourself. I honestly reccommend it. Here are some teaser quotes:

  • “I returned to my secret ‘hip hop hideaway’”
  • “That dog dying sucked.”
  • “The driver…talked my fucking ears off…That asshole yapped at me”
