Behind-the-Scenes at “My Super Sweet 16″

A very interesting article has surfaced that discusses life after appearing on “My Super Sweet 16.” The subject is Alex Wikol, the midwestern rich girl whose party raised money for autism. Remember her? Well, evidently other people do, because “she gets recognized just about anywhere she goes.” Here are some deets about the party:
His daughter’s birthday bash, which was filmed at Birmingham’s Community House, grew in size and cost when the family realized she had been chosen for the show, Murray Wikol concedes. More kids got invitations. No expense was spared. But he won’t tell you how much it cost exactly.
Though the birthday party raised $4,000 for autism-related charity, the party itself doubtlessly cost way more. To find out just how much the Wikol’s money can buy, click “read the rest of this entry.”
The Wikol family is so well off that they can afford their own 20-acre reserve in France:
He won’t discuss how much his company is worth or the cost of the dress his daughter wore to her epic party. The only hint at their riches that he discusses: a 16-building, 356-room château in France that the family owns and allows local colleges to rent for exchange programs. It sits on more than 20 acres.
“It takes you a day or so to walk around,” Alex Wikol says, and is “just ridiculous.”
