Alltel Will Get Wireless MTV Content

Remember a while back when Virgin Mobile had a bunch of MTV things for you to download? Well now the company has moved on to a different cell provider: Alltel.

MTVN will make videos from its variety of cable networks available to Alltel customers. There will also be games and other features branded with the shows that users can play with or access.

Some of that content will be accessible through Celltop, Alltel’s new product for delivering and organizing on mobile devices.

I suspect that you’ll get all the regular media, such as ringtones, wallpapers, and games. But I can also see them doing a merger with the virtual “The Hills” computer game as well.
